Security Alerts are posted on bulletin boards in all academic and residential halls and in other conspicuous areas to immediately alert the campus community of any serious crimes that have occurred on or near the campus.\u00a0 The Campus Security Department sends alerts as quickly as possible after becoming aware of crimes that might affect the campus community.<\/p>\n
Security Advisories are published and posted on bulletin boards to inform the community of crimes outside of the areas covered by the Security Alerts.\u00a0 Advisories may also be issued to advise of crime trends.\u00a0 They include information on precautionary measures to prevent further occurrences of a particular crime.<\/p>\n

Also included are campus security policies including those related to missing student notifications, alcohol and drug use, sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, and fire safety policies and statistics.
