The Orchestra will present two to three performances and regularly collaborate with outstanding student soloists and guest artists. Woodwind and brass players are invited to audition and will be admitted on repertoire needs.<\/p>\n<p>New and continuing students must audition for acceptance and placement in the orchestra. Auditions are open to all interested students but priority will be given to those in individual instruction at the Preparatory. Only students in individual instruction at the Preparatory are eligible to participate in Preparatory recitals or competitions, including the Junior Concerto Competition.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h3>Additional Audition Information<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Chamber Music &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong>for students interested in participating in chamber music, the Young Artists Orchestra (YAO) or Peabody Youth Orchestra (PYO), audition will serve as an audition for both the orchestra and chamber music programs.\u00a0 Students will only need to prepare the requirements for the orchestra audition.\u00a0 No additional solo work will be required.\u00a0 For students who are <strong>only<\/strong> auditioning for chamber music, please sign up for a chamber music audition and follow the specific audition requirements for that program.
